Happy New Year!
Written by Marie on January 2, 2008 – 2:34 pm -Well, the holidays are over and it is time now to get back to work! I didn’t really take any time off over the holidays, but I didn’t do as much as I should have;-)
I really want to thank all of you who have emailed me to thank me for the guides. It really means a lot to me to know that they are helping some people to get going. I will continue to offer new guides and tips as I learn. In fact, I am in the process of setting up an article directory. When it is done, I am going to set up another one and document step by step how I am doing it. It can be very technically challenging - but only if you let it get too complicated.
So, keep on the look out for that. An article directory can be a great source of income. You have a content site that is being constantly updated (which we know is what is needed for good SEO!), and it is being updated by others. You can monetize it through Adsense or paid advertising of some kind. Or, build it up until it starts making some kind of income, flip it and sell it for profit.
This is one of the ideas I learned from Instant Content Generators. There are just so many great ideas in there. Obviously there is a lot more detail that they go into - but I have given you the basic idea. If you want some more great ideas that anyone can do, you really should give it a try.

The Best Way To Start Making Money Online
Written by Marie on December 5, 2007 – 4:40 pm -OK, I am going to show the easiest and fastest way to start making money online - doing freelance work. It isn’t glamorous, but it works. I mention it in my “Lessons For A Newbie” ebook, but I think it is important to really let you know how easy it really is!
All you need to do is become an active member of Internet Marketing forums, as these are obviously places and people you want to connect with. Not only that, but these forums are always full of people looking to outsource some work. What I did, after I had a few posts under my belt, is post my services of rewriting articles and proofreading for free. You can offer anything which you feel skilled in - making ecovers, copywriting, writing, script installation - anything that you can do well. Start getting some people to do some work for, and give them your absolute best work possible!
Ask them to give you a testimonial or review of your work, and get a webiste or something set up. (You can use a free blog or some other place, but make sure you have some base to use!) I show you how to set up an email and simple Wordpress blog in my ebook, so you can get your email set up and start making some money!
Offer a WSO of your services for cheap prices, to build up a bit of a reputation. Just don’t get so carried away when you start seeing the money coming in that you take on more than you can do. You can completely destroy any chance you have online by messing this up! Do the work you can, and don’t take more orders until you can do them! You can always post more offers, but you won’t be able to if you don’t come through on your first one!
Make sure you have a Paypal account set up, and don’t forget to set up your new email address as an account in Paypal to accept payments through (which I show you in the guide about your Paypal set up!).
You will be making money right away, but the best part is, you will also be making some great contacts which can make a huge difference down the line with your Internet Marketing career. Take care of these people, and you will be a step ahead of the game.
